Product Details

Self-clinching Standoff Nuts are applied to sheet metal, sheet metal, chassis, cabinet, compartment or stacked chassis, circuit boards, or parts, and to provide a non-threaded fastener, the shape of the riveted nut column is hexagonal at one end and cylindrical at the other end. There is a relief groove between the hexagonal edge and the cylindrical shape, and the inner shape is an internal thread, the hexagonal head is pressed into the preset hole of the sheet by a press (the diameter of the preset hole is generally slightly larger than the cylindrical outer diameter of the press-riveted nut) to cause plastic deformation at the periphery of the hole, and the deformation part is squeezed into the tool withdrawal groove of the self-clinching standoff, the clinching standoff is riveted to the sheet to form an effectively fixed internal thread on the sheet.
